Kaminari Okoshi

Okoshi is a type of dagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) that are made all over the country. Kaminari Okoshi and Osaka's Awamori Okoshi are particularly famous. Kaminari Okoshi in Tokyo has been in business since the end of the Edo period (over 200 years ago). It's no exaggeration to say that it's the most typical old-fashioned confectionery remaining today. It is also good that it has a rustic appearance, even though it is made in Tokyo.

I'm sure there are many people who used to eat this candy in the past, but haven't eaten it recently. These days. Let's try it~.

Wow, I haven't seen this in a while! There are quite a lot of different kinds in it~. When I took a bite of one of them, the savory flavor spread to my mouth and nose, and when I chewed it, I could feel the aroma of it spreading. It has a pleasant sound to it. Surprisingly, it has a unique flavor of sesame and peanut, so I don't feel bad about it, or maybe I like it~. Also, I had a sweet image, but it's not so sweet~.

Hmm, it's a nostalgic candy. I remember that in the past, Okoshi were stuck together, but now they are all together as one. They are wrapped one by one, so they don't stick together. Mmmm... It used to be a very popular snack in the past.
