Ibaraki Prefecture is located in the northeastern part of the Kanto region and faces the Pacific Ocean. The prefectural capital is Mito City. The prefecture's tree is a plum tree. It is pronounced "Ibaraki(Not Ibaragi)" by Ibaraki Prefecture people.

Speaking of specialties, Japanese apricot are at the top of the list. And natto (fermented soybeans). If it's seafood, there's also "Anko".

The sightseeing spots are Kasumigaura, Mito Kairakuen, Ushiku-daibutsu, Mt. Tsukuba, which is loved by the locals.
