Tokushima Prefecture is in the eastern part of Shikoku. The prefectural capital is Tokushima City. The sudachi flower is a favorite of the residents of the county.
Their specialties include sudachi and Naruto kintoki sweet potatoes, and sweets such as saoshika/sawashika and Wasanbon (sugar).
Sightseeing spots include the kazura bridge in Iya, the whirlpools of the Seto Inland Sea, and the Naruto Strait. It is also famous for the Awa Odori, a summer festival.
