Chiba Prefecture consists of the southern part of the Kanto Plain and the Boso Peninsula. The prefectural capital is Chiba City. The prefectural fish is Thai.
Chiba's specialty is, after all, peanuts. They are peanuts, if nothing else. Surrounded by the sea on three sides of the island, the city is blessed with seafood from Tokyo Bay.
Not to mention the tourist attraction (like it's not Chiba), Tokyo Disneyland.
