Ishikawa Prefecture is located on the Sea of Japan side of the Hokuriku region, and the Noto Peninsula is a symbol of the region. It is divided into the Kaga region (south) and the Noto region (north). The capital of the prefecture is Kanazawa City.
Its specialty is yellowtail, a seafood specialty, and its processed "kaburazushi" is famous. Aside from food, Wajima-nuri and Kutani-yaki are also famous.
Sightseeing spots include Kenrokuen, Wakura Onsen, and the Senrihama Nagisa Driveway.
